Particular First Friday Sessions Beginning Friday Fancy Dress Fundraisers, Beginning Friday of Every Month Entry to our exceptional First Friday Fundraisers is 10 with all proceeds supporting one of our codes or their chosen charity. Established in mid 2010, the Sirens of Smash is based at the Nelson Roller Sports Club which draws passionate skaters from throughout the Nelson Bays New Zealand region. The NRC serves as the home of four established skating codes Artistic Precision, Speed, Inline Hockey, and Women's Flat Track Roller Derby. Roller derby is an inclusive sport everyone regardless of skating aptitude is encouraged to donate roller derby a go!. Nelson Roller Sports Club Tahunanui Pleasure Reserve, Nelson, Fresh Zealand.
In addition to women who want to play roller derby, non skaters and potential referees are encouraged to unite our league. Our indoor skating rink is located on Back Beach Road in what's considered the Merriment Park area of the Tahunanui Pastime Reserve, Nelson, New Zealand. Our Senior Men's team grasp the title of 2015 New Zealand National Champions!. Speed skating started in Nelson over sixty years ago when the Nelson Roller Sports Club was formed.
All training except Tuesday nights, receive deposit at the Nelson Rink located in the Tahunanui Recreation Reserve. We have a vast time skating in competitions, during public sessions and at special events!. Our skating rink is one of very few members owned facilities in Fresh Zealand. Dress in your favorite rock roll or rockabilly outfit and skate with the Sirens of Smash at the following Beginning Friday Fundraiser, June 3 from pm
