The local mountain peaks of the Southern Alps range from 500 to over 700 feet above sea level and are often snow capped. Fee payable by overseas pilots to Nelson Lakes Club 50 per week or part thereof or 35 for one day only. When gliding, you are usually at Lake Station airfield all day, so reach prepared!. As a winch launching club, there are few clubs anywhere in the country with cost structure as low as ours.
