Frustrated by a market filled with hard riding, cramped rigid inflatables, Grant Perkins of GP Engineering decided it was time to design and construct a RIB that would satisfy the maximum discerning customer himself.
Designed to yield optimal room and stability, Wave breaks endure rugged treatment without compromising harsh water performance or safety. Our aftermarket products include Reva Racing, Salas, NuJet, Sat Tran, Mikuni, Keihin, R D, Beach House, Hamilton, Factory Pipe, word, MI Racing, Hydroturf, Atlantis, Slippery, Jetpilot and many others!. Wave breaks are entirely manufactured by GP Engineering Ltd in Nelson, New Zealand. In 1996 he launched his beginning hand crafted alloy hulled rigid inflatable boat and he named her, Wave break.
GP Engineering has been designing and building Wave burst Closed-minded Inflatables ever since. GP Engineering has built Wave breaks for a variety of users including blue water yachtsmen, commercial dive boats, deep sea trawlers, recreational fishermen and divers, the Auckland Coast Guard, New Zealand Ministry of Fisheries, NZ Sea Cadets, NZ Department of Conservation, various yacht clubs, tour operators and guest lodges. Reverse chines enable hasty planing, bright cornering and predictable handling D shaped pontoons and kind layouts produce uncluttered inside space expansive beam and large pontoons guarantee wonderful stability both at rest and while below way. Wave breaks are built to exceed stern survey standards as istered by Ministry of Primary Industries and other international organizations.
