What you should know about Ambleside Luxury Bed And Breakfast
We will definitely be staying at Ambleside again on our return next year!. We were warmly received and made to feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. Breakfasts were out of this world! Both Kees and Robyn made us so welcome and did everything possible to make our stay a great experience. Thank you for a wonderful 4 night stay best yet! Best hospitality and breakfasts in NZ! We feel like we could be good friends.
Ambleside, Robyn Kees are exceptional, the accommodation is so comfortable, the breakfasts are second to none, not forgetting the wine and nibbles. Each day our trip keeps getting better, we don’t think anything else can top this stay. a short note to let you know how much we appreciated Ambleside, and how we now understand even more just how much you spoiled us for our NZ holiday and just how good your B B really is. From the moment we arrived at Ambleside we knew we had struck gold with the most delightful accommodation and welcoming hosts. Only after a further 4 weeks enjoying the high standards of accommodation throughout the South Island in all styles and types of holiday accommodation were we able to really understand just how good Kees and Robyn are. we can’t thank you enough for your help regarding our change of plans via Haast Pass.
Your hosts Peter and Janine Originally from the North Island of New Zealand, we moved to Nelson 20 years ago after falling in love with the region while on holiday. We love being able to represent Nelson and New Zealand to domestic and international visitors, we want to provide a warm and welcoming environment and introduce our fabulous region and all that it offers to our guests. We are passionate about the beautiful beaches and national parks in Nelson and Tasman and can offer advice about the many vineyards in the area and the creative industry that is world renowned. There is a spirit of gracious hospitality at Ambleside and guests are assured of a warm and friendly welcome.
As well as the ducks, we occasionally see herons, paradise ducks and pukekos! The stream is an on going project, as we are constantly looking for ways to protect and beautify it whilst at the same time understanding its very unique purpose that is to protect and save all of the adjoining properties from floods. The City of Nelson is large enough to offer all the services and amenities of a large city yet is small enough to be intimate, welcoming and friendly. Inland Nelson is a wonderland of water adventure, including kayaking, rafting, boating and for those who prefer fishing, the Nelson Lakes area provides some of the best trout fishing in the world
