What you should know about A Culinary Experience
For the energetic visitor to Nelson we support the National Parks and especially the Abel Tasman. We love sharing with our B and B guests the magic of choosing New Zealand as our fresh deposit to live and how particular Nelson is. Because maximum of our guests spend more than one night at our B and B we have the opportunity to get to know them and introduce them to the warm, wonderful lifestyle of Nelson, and share with them the culinary uniqueness of New Zealand. How about a casual day in Nelson’s Central Business District and adjacent areas. The accurate region for exploring, swimming and relaxing, the Nelson region offers both single and mufti day sailing experiences.
Directions and locations for all stops or items of interest are available in your room’s compendium with copies and maps for you to take with you on your daily excursions. The area has an ever growing reputation for food and wine as well as becoming Fresh Zealand’s capital for craft beer and micro breweries. Kay, cookbook author and former cooking school owner, provides lovely dinners or cooking classes. With so much to do in the region, we support staying at least 3 nights or more.
The Nelson Saturday Market with local produce, crafts and art reminded us of the Provencal markets of Southern France. You could join him on Thursdays 6pm at the Boat House for Nelson style comraderie, or any one of the 7 rotary clubs in the Nelson Region. Imagine how you will feel after your rejuvenating stay in this independently assessed boutique lodge, which has consistently been awarded a 5 Star Qualmark rating. They make a flawless excuse for a half day or stuffed day tour exploring all the dazzling corners of the region.
Your task will be to select from the many Art Galleries, World of Wearable Art and Antique Car Museum, Miiyazu Japanese Gardens, The Sumter Art Gallery, Flame Daisy or Hougland Art Glass Studios, while leaving time for a stroll along the Maitai River Walkway and Queens Gardens. We have created a truly unique boutique accommodation and welcome you to our attractive home occupied with original art, laughter, great food, and our adorable puppy. In slow September 2001 we came to Fresh Zealand to research a fresh venue for this Food and Wine Tours. Or, try a kayak experience along the coast of the Abel Tasman park and inlets, encountering seals along the way. View a sample of our Nelson itineries! Saltwater fishing in Fresh Zealand is release and can be done from the shore surf casting or by boat. Lovely local wines and great restaurants were abundant in the area and attracted both international and Kiwi visitors
